Spinal Cord: Photo 1

A series I did with a friend. In the photos, by revealing her exposed spine and partially nude form, she is in a state of vulnerability. However, the exposed spine represents her courage or "back bone."

I painted the spinal cord with acrylic paint. The process took about 4-5 hours.
